A+ Back To School Prayer… Teach Your Student To Pray Today. Prayer is one of the best ways to prepare your student to start the school year. We all know how hard it has been for the last couple of years for students, families, teachers, and even school administrators. They all need any help that they can get during the school year. Why not pray and seek help from the Lord? Better yet, teach your student to pray.

Aside from teaching them scripture, it will guide them when they need God’s leading and direction. It’s a silver bullet for the future that they can access whenever required. You might even be surprised what God can do through your child as they use this gift.

God, I am thankful for the teaching of your word. I pray you would infuse your teaching deep into my heart, continue to guide me this week with it.
Prayer for Blessing And Favor
I lift up every teacher & staff member I know and this new school year. I ask that you would bless them with abundant resources and anything else they might need. Please bless their relationships with students, parents, and other staff members. I pray they would find favor in every one of those relationships, especially with you Lord.
Praying for Safety And Protection
In addition, Father, I pray a special blessing on every child that is represented through each of these teachers and staff members this year as well as each student in every grade level at school, no matter their age. I pray you would put Your mighty hand of protection over them and keep every one of them safe.
Pray for Guidance And Love
As I pray for these students, teachers, and staff members I ask that you would guide them in modeling their faith in deeds and actions. May you be glorified through each of their lives. Please draw them to You Lord as only a Father can and let them know how much they are loved by you! In Jesus name, amen!

HOW IT ALL STARTED: In 1984, Fern Nichols’ heart was heavy for her two oldest sons because of the temptations they would face in junior high school. She called another mom to pray for their children and the school. They invited other Christian moms and began meeting for Prayer. This was the beginning of the Moms in Prayer International ministry. Word spread and soon groups grew in her area and later spread throughout the world.
