The Annual Event

Every year over 3,500 people attend the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C, on the first Thursday in February. Members of the United States Congress host the event with The Fellowship Foundation organizing it.

People from around the world attend the breakfast every year. It’s invite-only, accompanied by A-listers from within politics, society, and business.

Lord, hear my prayerIn Your faithfulness listen to my plea, and in Your righteousness answer me. Psalms 143:1

Events

The important two-day event includes a full day of forums and meetings with attendees representing more than 120 countries. They are Religious Leaders, Diplomats, Missionaries, and more.

THE HISTORY

The participants assemble in Washington, D.C., at the Hilton Hotel. Since the beginning, every President since Dwight D. Eisenhower has attended and spoken at the event.

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

In 2017,  as the Prayer Coordinators for Jaron Ministries International, my twin sister and I were invited to take part in praying over the events that take place before and during the Breakfast. It was and will always be one of the most exciting events I have ever attended.

We can be encouraged to pray like they did that God will bring us together over the needs of others, our country, and the world.

I pray not only for these but also for those who believe in Me through their message. May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You. May they also be one in Us, so the world may believe You sent Me. I have given them the glory You have given Me. May they be one as We are one”. John 17:20-23
