Prayer is a Key

The Ancient Greek name of Jesus is a translation of the Hebrew and Aramaic name Joshua, which can mean "the Lord is salvation," "the Lord saves," or "the Lord is my help." (The Lord also refers to God's special covenant name Yahweh, meaning "I am Who I am," signifying that God keeps his promises.)

YESHUA – Yahweh Who Saves. Do you remember what it was like before you came to know Jesus? How unworthy and ashamed you might have felt? You couldn’t do enough to fill that God-shaped gaping hole in your heart. You felt like you would never be enough and felt a loss, but you weren’t sure for what?

Please listen:

YESHUA – ft. Meredith Mauldin (With Lyrics)

AND THEN you met Jesus, Yeshua- whose name means “Yahweh is salvation,” or “Yahweh saves.” You instantly felt a peace you had never felt before like someone was walking with you, and you didn’t feel alone anymore. This Yeshua is found in scripture in Matthew 1:21 and Luke 2:21.

She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus,[a] because He will save His people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 - Read Full Chapter @BibleGateway

Reach out for Hope

But maybe, just maybe, you still feel alone sometimes. Could that possibly be you? Or have you suffered a tragic loss in your life in one way or another, and this loss has left you feeling lonely? Scripture reminds us that life is not easy, but because of Jesus, we can find He is our only Hope. It’s a reminder that He is faithful in every circumstance of our lives. We must reach out for Hope by reading scripture, praying with Him, and believing in His promises.

Praise His Name

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

In addition, I believe one of the most life-changing ways is by praising Jesus. As Christians, we are called to do far more than cope with getting through each day. We are called to walk in the victorious beauty of the cross as we take it up daily. In this, we find joy!

King David suffered many losses when he wrote Psalms 19, yet he praised God through his various sufferings.

YESHUA - Yahweh Saves, Scripture, Bible Verse, Psalm 19
For the choir director: A psalm of David. 1 The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. 2 Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. 3 They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.[a] 4 Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun. 5 It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race. 6 The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.

As you walk safely grasping the hand of Yeshua, be reminded and encouraged by this scripture today. Remember His faithfulness throughout your life, knowing He has never left you.

Soak in His Presence

As you listen to this song, soak in His presence.

Prayer:

Dear Jesus, I praise You because You are YESHUA – Yahweh, who has saved me. Please walk with me. Help me find Hope and joy in You today as the one who has redeemed me. I declare Your glory as the skies proclaim the work of Your hands. Please help me to recognize that you will never leave or forsake me. Show me the beauty of Your creation, Lord, for it is glorious! I stand in awe of who You are! Please guide me with Your wisdom and remind me to be grateful for what You have done in the past so that I can glorify You in the future. I want to be an instrument of You so that people around me will know You. In Your name, Jesus.
